Ela Thakore’s life takes her from Nairobi, to London, to Calgary, eventually to end up on an acreage in Vulcan County. Throughout her journey she continues to maintain her tradition of vegetarian cooking- the same as her ancestors in Indian who practiced the Jain religion. Ela shares with us the recipes for making Puri and Potato Curry.
